SESSION 3 — THE INNER BAPTISM

PATH OF RETURN TO JESUS CHRIST
“Born of Water and the Spirit”

Session 3 — The Inner Baptism, where we will work with John 3 and an ancient text about Water and the Spirit, always with the utmost reverence.

We now enter with the same recollection and faithfulness, attending to every word and every silence.

The complete Session 3, maintaining the canonical Gospel as the absolute axis, and using an ancient complementary text only as a spiritual echo, clearly distinguished.

Intention of the Session

To receive the call of Jesus Christ to be born again, allowing God to purify the heart and renew life through Water and the Spirit.

This session is offered:
• for our inner renewal
• for those seeking a new beginning
• for a weary and wounded humanity
• for all Creation groaning as it awaits restoration

Sacred Opening

In the name of the Father,
and of the Son,

Invocation

Eternal and faithful God,
source of all life,
open our hearts
to receive the gift of Your Spirit
and be born again according to Your will.

Living Word — Canonical Gospel

Proclaimed slowly, without added commentary:

“Jesus answered:
Truly, truly, I say to you,
unless one is born of water and the Spirit,
he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
That which is born of the flesh is flesh,
and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Do not marvel that I said to you:
You must be born again.”

One does not enter the Kingdom through human effort.
One enters by gift.

To be born again
is not to go backward,
but to open oneself to God.

Prayer of Inner Renewal

Lord Jesus Christ,
You who were baptized in the Jordan
and sanctified the waters,
wash my heart
of all that does not come from You.

Pour out Your Spirit upon me,
that I may live according to the truth
and walk in the light.

Not according to my will,
but according to Yours.

Amen.

Simple Ritual Gesture

If possible, touch a bowl of water
or imagine the water with reverence.

Say inwardly:
“Lord, may Your Spirit make me new.”

This gesture is offered:
• for those who have lost hope
• for those who long to begin again
• for children and the most vulnerable
• for the Earth, living water of Creation

Prayer for Humanity and Creation

God of life,
look upon humanity with mercy.

Purify what is contaminated,
heal what is wounded,
renew the face of the Earth
through Your Spirit.

SESIÓN 3 — EL BAUTISMO INTERIOR

 CAMINO DE VUELTA A JESUCRISTO

«Nacer del Agua y del Espíritu»

 Sesión 3 — El Bautismo Interior, donde trabajaremos Juan 3 y un texto antiguo sobre el Agua y el Espíritu, siempre con máximo respeto.

Entramos ahora con el mismo recogimiento y fidelidad, cuidando cada palabra y cada silencio.

 La Sesión 3 completa, manteniendo como eje absoluto el Evangelio canónico, y usando un texto antiguo complementario solo como eco espiritual, claramente distinguido.

 Intención de la sesión

Acoger el llamado de Jesucristo a nacer de nuevo, dejando que Dios purifique el corazón y renueve la vida por el Agua y el Espíritu.

Esta sesión se ofrece:

• por nuestra renovación interior
• por los que buscan un nuevo comienzo
• por la humanidad cansada y herida
• por toda la Creación que gime esperando ser restaurada

Invocación

Dios eterno y fiel,
fuente de toda vida,
abre nuestro corazón
para recibir el don de tu Espíritu

Se proclama lentamente, sin añadir comentarios:

«Respondió Jesús:
De cierto, de cierto te digo,
que el que no naciere de agua y del Espíritu,
no puede entrar en el reino de Dios.

Os es necesario nacer de nuevo.»

No se entra al Reino por esfuerzo humano.
Se entra por don.

Nacer de nuevo
no es volver atrás,
sino abrirse a Dios.

Se puede leer con sobriedad:

«Entonces el Señor dijo:
Daré a los justos un corazón nuevo
y pondré en ellos espíritu de vida,

  “Espíritu de Dios…”

Señor Jesucristo,
Tú que fuiste bautizado en el Jordán

de todo aquello que no viene de Ti.

Gesto Ritual Sencillo

Si es posible, tocar un cuenco con agua o imaginar el agua con reverencia.

Decir interiormente:

“Señor, que tu Espíritu me haga nuevo.”

• por los que han perdido la esperanza
• por los que desean comenzar de nuevo
• por los niños y los más vulnerables
• por la Tierra, agua viva de la Creación

Oración por la Humanidad y la Creación

Dios de vida,
mira a la humanidad con misericordia.

Purifica lo que está contaminado,
sana lo que está herido,
renueva la faz de la Tierra
por tu Espíritu.

SESSION 2 — THE METANOIA OF THE HEART

PATH OF RETURN TO JESUS CHRIST

“Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven has drawn near”

Intention of the Session

To enter into metanoia: the profound transformation of the heart and mind born from the encounter with Jesus Christ.

Not from guilt,
but from truth and the Love that calls us to return.

This session is offered:
• for ourselves
• for all wounded hearts
• for humanity in need of reconciliation
• for all Creation

Sacred Opening

In the name of the Father,
and of the Son,
and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Brief silence.

Invocation

God of mercy,
You do not despise a sincere heart.
Send us Your Spirit
so that we may return to You
with truth and humility.

Living Word — Canonical Gospel

Proclaimed slowly:

“From that time Jesus began to preach and to say:
Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven has drawn near.”
(Matthew 4:17)

Silence.

Let the word “repent” rest in the heart, without added explanations.

Meditation in Silence

Conversion is not fear.
It is not punishment.
It is return.

The Kingdom is not far.
It is near.

As near as the heart that opens.

CAMINO DE VUELTA A JESUCRISTO

Entrar en la metanoia: el cambio profundo del corazón y de la mente que nace del encuentro con Jesucristo.
No desde la culpa, sino desde la verdad y el Amor que llama a volver.

Esta sesión se ofrece:

• por nosotros mismos
• por todos los corazones heridos
• por la humanidad necesitada de reconciliación
• por toda la Creación

 Apertura Sagrada

En el nombre del Padre,
del Hijo
y del Espíritu Santo. Amén.

Invocación

Dios de misericordia,
tú no desprecias un corazón sincero.
Envíanos tu Espíritu
para que podamos volver a Ti
con verdad y humildad.

Se proclama lentamente:

«Desde entonces comenzó Jesús a predicar y a decir:
Convertíos, porque el Reino de los cielos se ha acercado.»

Se deja que la palabra “convertíos” repose en el corazón, sin explicaciones añadidas.

La conversión no es miedo.
No es castigo.
Es regreso.

El Reino no está lejos.
Está cerca.
Tan cerca como el corazón que se abre.

"Come and follow me"

To listen to the call of Jesus Christ, to open the heart to follow Him, and to become inwardly willing to walk in Him—for one’s own good, for others, and for all Creation.

Invocation

Lord God,
Father of mercy,
we give You thanks because You call us first.

We open our hearts to listen to You
and to follow Your Son, Jesus Christ,
with humility and truth.

Living Word (Gospel)

Read slowly:

"As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee,
He saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew.
They were casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen.
And He said to them:
‘Come, follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.’
At once they left their nets
and followed Him."

(Matthew 4:18–20)

Brief Meditation (without added interpretation)

Jesus Christ calls.
He does not force.
He does not explain the whole path.

He simply says: “Come and follow me.”

The call is personal.
It is now.
And it asks for a free response.

“I want to follow You.”

Prayer of Response to the Call

Lord Jesus Christ,
Son of the living God,
