SESSION 7 — THE LIVING COMMUNION
THE WAY BACK TO JESUS CHRIST
“Abide in Me, and I in you.”
Session 7 —
The Living Communion, entering
into the mystery of Christ in us and us in Him.
Intention of the Session
To enter
into living communion with Jesus Christ, to remain in Him and allow His life to
flow within us — not as an idea, but as a real and transforming relationship.
This session
is offered:
- for our union with Christ
- for the healing of inner
separation
- for unity among human beings
- for all Creation called to live
in communion
Sacred Opening
In the name of the Father,
and of the Son,
and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Collected
silence.
Invocation
Holy Father,
You call us to live in communion with You
through Your Son Jesus Christ.
Open our hearts
to remain in Him
and bear fruit in love.
Amen.
Living Word — Canonical Gospel
It is
proclaimed slowly, without adding anything:
“I am the true vine,
and My Father is the vinedresser.
Abide in Me, and I in you.
As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself
unless it abides in the vine,
neither can you, unless you abide in Me.
He who abides in Me, and I in him,
bears much fruit;
for apart from Me you can do nothing.”
(John 15:1,
4–5)
Prolonged
silence.
Meditation in Silence
Communion is not manufactured.
It is received.
It is not about doing more,
but about remaining.
Christ does not invade.
Christ dwells within.
Silence.
Complementary Text — Apocryphal
(Gospel of Philip)
It is read with reverence:
“He who is united with the Lord
is one spirit with Him.”
(Gospel of Philip, 59; cf. 1 Corinthians 6:17)
Silence.
This text is
received as a contemplative echo, in harmony with apostolic teaching.
Breath of Abiding
Gently:
- While inhaling:
“Jesus…” - While exhaling:
“…I remain in You.”
Three times,
without haste.
Prayer of Communion
Lord Jesus Christ,
You do not turn away from those who seek You sincerely.
Teach me to remain in You
when everything invites me to scatter.
May Your life flow within me,
may Your love bear fruit,
and may nothing separate me from You.
Amen.
Ritual Gesture
Place both
hands gently over the chest.
Interiorly:
“Christ lives in me.”
This gesture
is offered:
- for those who feel separated
- for divided communities
- for the unity of humanity
- for the harmony of all Creation
Prayer for Humanity and Creation
Father of all,
gather in Christ
what has been scattered.
May humanity learn to live in communion
and not in domination,
and may the Earth be cared for
as a common home
where Your life dwells.
Amen.
Integration
Deep
silence.
Do not
think.
Do not ask.
Remain.
Closing and Blessing
The Lord is faithful
and His love is eternal.
May Christ remain in us
and we in His peace.
Amen.
In the name of the Father,
and of the Son,
and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
